Catch of the week:
Rob Bowman best fish of the week at 6lb 8oz and regular visitor Doug Pearce netted a limit catch Wednesday for a total weight of 17lb 8oz from near the first fence.

Memorable Moment of the week:
A lot of fish feeding along the shoreline on huge shoals of small fry. These shoals can turn up anywhere and give their position away when they burst out of the water trying desperately to escape the marauding trout and perch.
  • Best areas and flies: North bank along to Cronkley and anywhere the fry feeders appear. A Peter Ross or small Minkie should do the trick.
  • Best areas and baits / lures:The eastern end of the reservoir remains the most consistent, although good catches being taken from Hunter House. Small silver Toby lures and number 2 Mepps are taking the fry feeders.
Newsflash:
Several tagged fish still in the water worth £200 each

Special message for the new week:
Great to see the rod average at three fish per angler! The best for months
