Originally, only Stewarts and Lloyds employees were admitted to fish but that was extended to the public in 1952.
The new purpose built fishing lodge was built in 1996 after the old lodge was lost in an arson attack, and was extended in 2006, it now incorporates a state of the art Tackle Shop as well as a Conference room which is available for hire by all.
Over the years the fishery has gone from strength to strength with quality Rainbow Trout joining the native Brown Trout as quarry for visitors from around the world. 35,000 quality trout are stocked throughout the season to one of the most scenic and pleasant fisheries in the country.
With knowledgable fishery staff on hand with all the up to the minute fishery tactics you are sure to enjoy your day at one of the countries premiere league trout fisheries.
The fishery offers tuition and guided days by fully qualified fly fishing instructors, we cater for all levels of tuition, from Novices to Improvers or Advanced, please call 01536 772930 for further details.
Our modern Fishing Lodge has recently been extended to incorporate the new Eyebrook Tackle Shop as well as some much needed office space. The function room and kitchen can be used by anglers and can also be hired by clubs for corporate events.
