Catch of the week:
Richard Smart had a good day’s fishing Sunday whist fishing from the boat. He caught five rainbows in Lodge Bay and in Boundary Bay. His method was a floating line with buzzers and a Montana Nymph.

Best areas and flies:
With the strong winds this week it meant it was not safe for the boats to be leaving the Jetty from Monday to Saturday.

Best areas and baits / lures:
With bank fishing still available, fish have been caught on the Main Dam and the inlet wall as this is where the wind direction has carried the fish. By far the best method has been spinning with a red or orange bladed spinner being the Number 1 choice. This was proved by Zilvis Toks catching his eight fish limit in 25 minutes Thursday

Please note: Banks now close at 4pm and the boats need to be back on the jetty at 4pm.
