Catch of the week:
James and Costel came in joint first place this week landing a pair of fantastic heavyweight rainbows tipping the scales at 9lbs each. They both fished around the cages, with James fishing Garlic PowerBait, and Costel fishing a mix of Yellow and Green Paste. James also landed a stunning perch, fishing mice tails on a drop shot rig.

Best areas and flies:
Regular Denis tempted a stunning 6lb rainbow this week, fishing small black buoyant flies with red eyes on a Di7, to complete an 8 fish limit. He was fishing around the cages and bubble lines. Mr Tomlinson fishing on a catch and release permit landed a whopping 33 rainbow trout, using Black Buzzers around the Inlet area. Richard Smart did equally well this week, landing 34 great trout this week, fishing at the Inlet and the Cages on a mixture of small buoyant flies and Buzzers.

Best areas and baits / lures:
Worms have done the trick for a lot of anglers this week, particularly along the main dam wall. A drop shot rig with Mice tails has also tempted their fair share of fish to the net, with the Cages and Inlet the best spots. Garlic, Orange and Green PowerBait has also produced great catches with School Bay, the Bubble Line and the Cages well worth a visit. Spinning has also done well this week in the shallower water around 13ft with Green, Orange and Yellow coloured lures working the best

Please note: Banks Close at 19.00 with boats back on the Jetty for 1900
