Catch of the week:
Paul Robinson returning 15 fish on a catch and release ticket. Taking full advantage of changing conditions, Paul landed good numbers on Black Hoppers during cloud cover, and then switched to fishing Black Lures on a Di3 when bright conditions pushed fish deeper.

Memorable Moment of the week:
Mr J Swinbank returning 11 fish on Saturday in near perfect conditions combined with the arrival of the annual Hawthorn hatch providing some excellent dry fly sport. Fishing in Reedy Bay, Mr Swinbank certainly had a visit to remember.

Best areas and flies:
Reedy Point and into the Bay have fished extremely well, especially early evening with rising fish feeding on terrestrials such as Hawthorns and Black beetles. Anglers have also done well on Black Lures fished deep and slow when it has become too bright to fish the dries. The fast water from the inlet at New House Bay has started to fish well with fish following easterly winds up the reservoir.
Newsflash:
More fish in the 5lb-7lb range to be stocked this week including some top quality home reared Lartington Brown Trout.
