Catch of the week:
David Phillips posted one of the best days so far this season taking his limit of eight for a combined weight of 15lb 8oz and returning a further nine during an excellent Friday morning spell.

Memorable Moment of the week:
Tim Canning, on his first visit to the Teesdale area, was over the moon to land an 8oz wild brown trout on a Brown Hopper. He caught three rainbows later in the afternoon but it was the wild fish which made his visit memorable.

Best areas and flies:
Reedy Point along to the Dam Wall has fished consistently. When conditions allow, dry fly fishing has really started to produce good numbers as temperatures rise. With lots of black beetles on the surface of the water providing a good natural food source, we should continue to see plenty of feeding fish. Also, any time soon we will see hawthorns starting to hatch, so small black hoppers and bushy wets should produce good numbers of fish.
