Catch of the week:
Mr A. Currie caught a fully finned 5lb 8oz rainbow on a White Fritz. Mr Currie has caught and released 34 fish this week on three separate visits to the reservoir fishing in various areas.

Memorable Moment of the week:
Mr. G Evans caught seven fish all on the surface using a Black Hopper at Reedy Point. Using a slight easterly breeze, Mr. Evans was letting his fly drift around on the surface and managed to tempt a number of quality trout for some great evening sport.

Best areas and flies:
New House Bay has been a good location with some good sized fish caught on traditional wet fly patterns such as Bibio, Kate McLaren and various spider patterns. The north bank has again fished well with fish roaming the margins feeding from the surface most evenings.
Special message for the new week:
As temperatures rise New House Bay should continue to hold fish as they seek out the cooler, oxygen rich water.
