Catch of the week:
Mr. W Harvey from Nunthorpe caught six rainbow trout for an impressive 18lb 12oz with the heaviest fish weighing in at 5lb. Mr. Harvey caught his fish using a Gold Head White Fritz on a floating line fishing near the white post on the north bank.

Memorable moment of the week
With windy conditions throughout the week, Mr. J Ramsden found a bit of calm water in New House Bay and managed to catch five fish using a Kate McLaren and slow retrieve.

Best areas and flies:
Wind at times has hampered sport again, colouring up the margins. The key to success was to cast a good line out past this coloured water fishing bright headed lures on an intermediate line. New House Bay and the north bank have produced good numbers of fish. With light winds forecast be prepared to travel light to cover as much water as possible.
