Catch of the week:
Ian and Faye Brown both recorded 8 fish limit catches including fish up to 2lbs in weight from Hawkhope on Worm.

Memorable Moment of the week:
Lodge guest Richard Wood enjoyed a great session over the weekend fly fishing catching 8 fish in a fantastic 2 hours session on Saturday. Richard went out again on Sunday and caught 3 more fish from Stockie Bay on an intermediate line with a White Snake.
  • Best areas and Flies - Hawkhope, Stockie Bay and Tower Knowe using fast and medium sinking lines with bright lures Top patterns include Orange and Black Fritz, Cats Whisker Dawson’s Olive, Orange Blob and various coloured Snakes.
  • Best areas and baits / lures:Stockie Bay, Hawkhope and Tower Knowe with ledgered PowerBait in various colours including must have Green or Orange paste or Eggs. On calmer days a bubble float with a suspended Worm has also taken good numbers of fish.
Special Message:Boats are to back on the jetty by 5pm, Bank fishing permits available from 6.00am from Reception Kielder Waterside and now from Tower Knowe Visitor Centre 9am until 5pm.
