Memorable Moment of the week:
Steve Mills from Middlesbrough has had a memorable start to the season and in two visits netted 30 fish in total. Steve released 18 and kept 12 using a Cut Throat Cat, Nomad and a Black Buzzers at the west end.

Best areas and flies :
Dawson’s Olive, Black Fritz, Cut Throat Cat, Nomad, Black Buzzer. Best area has been the west end but fish well spread and all areas should fish well once weather improves.

Best areas and baits / lures:

Worm, maggot, just about every colour of Powerbait and Spinners have been effective with all areas fishing well.

Newsflash:

With a much more settled weather forecast and another stocking this week the prospects for the excellent sport to continue are looking really good.
