Memorable Moment of the week:
Neil Coates from Lingdale had a great days fishing from the Dam Wall ledgering with a mix of Sweet Corn and Yellow Powerbait. Neil landed 8 rainbows including the heaviest fish of week at 3lb 4oz.

Best areas and flies:
Both the East and West end of the reservoir have provided some good sport for fly angers. Floating and slow sinking lines have been the best method with Kate McLaren and Cormorant patterns doing well.

Best areas and baits / lures:
Both the East and West end of the main Dam Wall have produced good catches. Worm or Mice tail baits combined with a Powerbait cocktail of Orange and Yellow Paste or Egg working best. Some anglers found that a single colour was not attracting the fish and after combining two colours together with Orange being the predominant choice catches improved.
